David Laporte
Master Builder
David LaPorte founded Powerhouse Electric in 2006 and has been a Licensed Electrical Contractor for nearly 20 years. In 2010, he completed his first home remodel and discovered a passion for the craft—and the lasting impact—of transforming a home.
Since then, David has managed multiple remodels, overseen a ground-up commercial build, and is currently designing and constructing a custom home in Covington. In 2024, driven by his vision to build not just homes but lasting legacies, he launched Living Stone Builders.
Known for his keen eye for detail, David consistently delivers exceptional results while keeping his clients’ timelines and budgets top of mind. He collaborates with an award-winning design team recognized throughout the Greater New Orleans area.
With more than 15 years of construction experience, David offers a rare combination of technical expertise, hands-on craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to excellence in every project he undertakes.
